Flowers are a great way to help create the mood of your event.
Akiko Floral Artistry has done a fabulous job at putting together this floral arrangement which would be perfect for our Vintage Tea Party. 

For your guests who aren't tea drinkers why not offer them an alternative of juice or a slushy drink in a mason jar. Perfect for reusing those mason jars so many of us have stuffed in our the cupboards. Add a ribbon that goes with your colors and top with a lemon wedge.

We are liking the candy bar but what we are really liking is the stationary that goes beside it. Another local supplier Pinkpolka Design creates stationary & invitations customized to your event. Before your guests even enter your party they will be buzzing about the invitations and what could possibly come on the day of.

Desserts! Our favorite and most delicious part of the event!

Make sure to put a little effort into your dessert selection because it will mean the difference between having lots of left overs or having guests devour every cupcake available to them. Fuss Cupcakes is extraordinary at making cupcakes and the selection available to you is amazing.

Real Life Weddings - Carleen & Leigh

We really had a great time planning this wedding from start to finish. The colors were amazing, the room and staff at the hotel McDonald in Edmonton fantastic and the bride and groom were so wonderful to work with.

The ceremony took place in the same room as the reception so we were very busy that day. Setting up the room in the morning with several chairs all with satin chair covers and a long blue aisle down the center. Tall vases filled with flowers at the end of the aisle to frame in the happy couple for photos and admiring guests.

When the bride and groom kissed and were announced happily married cocktails and appetizers flooded the room as guests were taken out to enjoy the warm day and watch pictures been snapped. Inside we were busy setting the room up for the reception. Moving tables in, setting up the dance floor, DJ booths, head tables, linens, flowers, everything. And I must say we love every minute of it... you know you have found a great wedding planner when no matter what happens that day they still love what they do.

The reception was gorgeous, the colors worked perfectly, the head table looked amazing and the guests partied the night away. You know you have done a good job when it is time to come back to clean up and the wedding is still going despite the time.

We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do every time we look at them. Photography provided by a really talented photography company in Edmonton called Instant Memories. We highly recommend them to all our brides.
